Pizza Fuego Accessibility Statement
Updated: December 2020.
Pizza Fuego strives to ensure that its services are accessible to people with disabilities. Pizza Fuego has invested a significant amount of resources to help ensure that its website is made easier to use and more accessible for people with disabilities, with the strong belief that website accessibility efforts assist all users and that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort, and independence. By building and hosting this website via our partnership with Popmenu, we have ensured that the website follows the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 ("WCAG"), which are industry-leading guidelines for making Web content more accessible to people with disabilities. Popmenu has taken a number of steps to enable those who use a keyboard solely for navigation, require accommodations for certain vision needs, or are using assistive technologies such as screen readers to more easily interact with the features of the platform. Tools from the community-driven A11Y project are implemented into our development process, and our development team is trained to use these tools and others to develop features for keyboard-only browsing and screen reader software.
In addition, for added convenience, we have also added a UserWay's Web Accessibility Widget that is powered by a dedicated accessibility server.
Enabling the Accessibility Menu
The www.eatpizzafuego.com accessibility menu can be enabled by clicking the accessibility menu icon that appears on the top left corner of the page. After triggering the accessibility menu, please wait a moment for the accessibility menu to load in its entirety.
Pizza Fuego continues its efforts to constantly improve the accessibility of its site and services in the belief that it is our collective moral obligation to allow seamless, accessible, and unhindered use also for those of us with disabilities.
In an ongoing effort to continually improve and remediate accessibility issues, we perform automated testing via the open-source Lighthouse tool, which helps to ensure new features and platform updates remain conformant with WCAG. Furthermore, we also regularly scan www.eatpizzafuego.com with UserWay's Accessibility Scanner to identify and fix every possible accessibility barrier on our site. Despite our efforts to make all pages and content on www.eatpizzafuego.com fully accessible, some content may not have yet been fully adapted to the strictest accessibility standards. This may be a result of not having found or identified the most appropriate technological solution.
